So I had a guy drive 5 hours to come pick up my primal rage that I had listed for sale, while he was here he was checking out my mrs pac cocktail I just picked up a couple weeks ago, all I did so far with the pac was fix the door switch and clean it up, the monitor wasnt quite right a little blurry. Any way he wanted it so he made me an offer I couldnt refuse so its gone :( my wife and my son are a little pissed at me right now as that was the one they liked the most but I couldnt turn it down. RIP little buddy.

Are we allowed to ask what the offer was?

Probably not.

...but we all wanna know!!!

So... Not a 'Cool Get'... I guess... 'Cool Give"?

All the ladies love Ms. Pac

now you can buy another in better condition and still have enough for steak dinner and some beers.

I thought it was mandatory. Every "I bought" or "I sold" thread has someone ask. Usually no response in the "I bought" threads though.

And I keep reading the words "So I had a guy drive 5 hours to come pick up my primal rage..." and thinking "Now is the time to buy up all the crap games no collector would touch for the last 10 years."

Times, they are a-changing.

It had the speed chip in it engaged all the time, but didnt say "hot pursuit"

I didn't say you did. I was just saying if I had my choice between a "hot pursuit" ms pac cocktail or upright I would go with the upright, only because the jameswayhad that when I was a kid. Loved that flashing red button!

I think this is pretty common. Other than the pinballs and the pacman my wife doesn't care which games hit the road.

I guess namco was marketing to women and it worked.

Pacman rocks, but it is a dime a dozen game.

You mean the crazy otto guys and midway, namco had nothing to do with the development of ms. pac.

paid $50.00 sold for $400.00
That's a good deal for you especially since it doesn't sound like you put more into it than your own time to clean it up a bit. With that $400 you should be able to find a very solid upright Ms Pac if that's what you're after. Gotta love the artwork on that cab. :)
