I snagged this pinball today. a 1990 Gottlieb Title Fight. I snagged it for $250 and it had no sound and no action from any of the solenoids. After wrapping it up, taking it home and cracking it open, I found a disconnected cable in the backbox that fixed the sound easily. Then I replaced a fuse in the bottom and found out the coil on the right flipper was expanded and melted, therefore it blew the fuse as soon as the flipper was hit. On a strange stroke of luck, I found an NOS coil sitting on the bottom of the cabinet. Threw it in there and replaced the fuse again and I have a perfectly working pinball.

This thing is FUN. I hope to find a new glove for the left boxer in the backbox, but other than that some new rubbers, lights, and a good old fashioned wipe down is all it needs now.

Sweet. Now you just need to move that Super Turd Bros out of the way to make room for it. I'll send someone over ASAP.

thats awesome!! I love it when you find the needed parts IN the machine!!

i bought a rough converted and formerly soggy bitd and one of the optos in the gun was bad. in the bottom of the cab among mold etc was a spare opto.

I figured what the hell so i cleaned it and reflowed some cold solder joints. to my suprise, worked like a charm!

Yeah I nabbed mine for $700 from some guy literally 5 miles away. Except the flippers are giving me a ration of shit and it's frustrating me to no end!
