FIRE! FIRE!

Just got this guy, and I love system 11s, this one eluded me for some time, but I found a pretty nice one working for a good price... I am fixing a few small issues, including a non working sling that turns out is a pre-driver transistor, I didnt have any around so klovr Grbgemen loaned me one.. thx brother, the early era Sys11s used "special" solenoids, meaning they are driven by the game logic, NOT directly by the switches.. so when the coil transistor goes, neither the coil or the switches show up in test, weird I know but just passing on what I just learned.. later Sys11s dont have this issue..
worst part of this pin is some raised inserts... Ill post when I repair those..
This game is symmetrical and has the timed fire plug on it, gameplay is great and replay value is good, kids like it, drunk neighbors like it, and I like it, hence Im stoked to get this in the lineup...
heres some pics..

I love Fire!

I used to play the hell out of it at a movie theater I used to work at when I was a teen. And Probably one of the most aesthetically pleasing games Williams has ever produced.

It is a very fun game, intersting concept in going symmetrical, but it flows just fine and people just love it. I remember when I was young not being able to keep the ball in play when I saw this, but I watched a guy play this for a while and always remembered it. Funny tho, they made 7700 of these and you just dont see that many... where did they all go.

Just removed the bell topper and cleaned with brasso (works great), sanded and painted the bracket, as I restore her, Ill post updates as such. That bell is fricken loud, makes the dogs bark too, the wife really loves that....Ill have to keep dog bones handy for every multiball...

Fire! is an awesome pin, one of my all time favorites. Nice to see one in great shape.

that looks like a nice clean fire machine. i recently found one also (about a few months ago). the one i found was a great price, but i wish the cabinet was in nicer condition. mine works but needs a few adjustments. i have not started restoring it yet, but i stare at it every time i walk past it and cant wait to start on it.
mine needs cleaned up, and i remember the ball kept getting stuck under the diverter so that needs a minor adjustment too.

i really enjoy the pinball machines that do not have pop bumpers. junkyard is another title with no pop bumpers

looks like your bell polished up nicely!!!
