It's been a while since I've bought/sold...price checks?

OK, now that you have seen the light on Star Wars, we can work on your $200 Asteroids comment. :)

/older gamers, indeed. damn Street Fighter kids. get off my KLOV lawn!
//sadly, 3-400 seems about right nowadays for Asteroids.

You're nuts. :)
I see Asteroids sitting on craigslist in my area for weeks at $350-$400. The ones that sell are $250-$300.

But let's not fret over $100 up or down. Maybe my area is just swamped with them.

Edit: Sorry, I didn't mean "old" guys about the asteroids. But gamers older than 35 will obviously pay more for one than a twenty-three year old. Right? Just depends on your area it's being sold in.

If he lists that SW for $300 I'll take it... AND I'll pick it up this weekend!

If he lists that SW for $500 I'll take it... and we can work out how, when and where I can get it. Oh... and I'd request photos.

Get in Line:p

I rest my case.

At $300 your cab is sold immediately. At $500, it isn't being taken within 48 hours is it?

I love being right.

yeah, I read his post wrong. thanks.

And yes, my $300 price probably is a bit more subjective than objective. 'Cause clearly people will cough up $500 for one.

I passed on a similar one about a year and a half ago for $500, I kick myself every day.

I passed on a working one for $750. I kick myself every day.

My buddy's SW upright has been sitting for well over a year. He got it for the lower end, it had monitor issues. Cab good exterior. Game can be heard. He's tried monitor tricks, board swaps, wiring, deflection boards, and so on with no success.
This is where my own anguish and price of $300 comes in. Based on the trouble it's been giving him, I would never want to have one that wasn't 100% working.

Yea working $750 is a steal.

Have your friend send his chassis to the Arcadecup. I have sent a few problem vectors to chad. They work great now!!

I wish... I couldn't off a working Asteroids in great shape for $375 for 2 months...I dropped it to $350 and got one tire kicker. I dropped it to $325 and it sat for a week... I dropped it to $300 and it sat for a week... I dropped it to $250 and then finally sold it at $250 to a guy who tire-kicked at $350.
