Some of you may recall that I posted a long time ago seeking advice on game room carpet. FINALLY, it has been installed, today. Games are in the garage waiting to move back to their home. But here is the "before" and "after". Bear in mind that the camera doesn't do justice to the glow from the black lights!

Next...

  1. I have some drywall repair and painting to do. Paint color recommendations??? I'm thinking blue but I'm open to good arcade style colors.
  2. I also need to do a sound system (inexpensive is the key!). No juke. Just my zune, 4 or 6 in ceiling speakers (recommendations?), and an amp that will handle such a speaker configuration (recommendations?).

Looks great!

I would go with the Robotron Blue, it's a great color for the game room.

Goes really well with the Carpet and Black lights.

Thanks guys! I should add to my previous comment about what I'm looking to do with the sound system. I was forgetting about upstairs, so ideally the amp would be able to drive upstairs and downstairs separately (a, b, or a+b) and multiple speakers per channel. I'm thinking 4 or 6 total speakers downstairs, and 2 may be enough upstairs.

I'm not knowledgeable about sound systems so I welcome any advice. :D

Wolfeel, I'm glad you think so. Make me an offer I can't refuse. ;)
