ITC A6 Bill Validator in Star Trek Voyager and coin door wiring questions.

ITC A6 Bill Validator in Star Trek Voyager and coin door wiring questions.

I need some help with my Star Trek Voyager cockpit. I have 2 issues with the coin door. First is the dollar bill validator appears to be dead. It's a ICT A6 series 117V AC model. When I got the game the AC plug going to it was unplugged and it was full of dust and I found 5 redemption tickets jammed into the dollar slot. All the original wiring appears to be their. I plugged the AC harness back in and the validator still appears dead, no LED's nothing. Any idea's or is it time to find a replacement?

My second problem is the rest of the coin door. They striped it, took the coin shoots coin bezels lights everything and left a bear door. They cut the wires going to the coin counter but left it. The only other wires their has a red 10 pin inline plug. Could this be the plug going to the coin door switches lights and coin meter? The manual doesn't have a wiring diagram just a Jamma pin out. Can someone with a Star Trek Voyager take some pictures of the inside of your coin door so I can see what I have to replace and confirm if the 10 pin plug is for the coin door. If I have to I can trace the wires back to the board and wire it up but I am not sure how the coin counter hooks up. It only has one so do you only wire one of the coin switches to both coin switches?
Thanks for any help.

Here's an update on my Star Trek Voyager cockpit for those of you interested.
I now have a working dollar bill validator. The one that came on the game was dead so I ordered one just like it off Ebay. The original harness was their so I plugged it in and fried up the game and the 2 green led's were blinking. I wasn't sure but I took it as a good sign. I set the game up for one coin one credit, put a dollar bill in and it sucked it up and gave me 4 credits. Yes success, I now have the bill validator working. It also worked with a new 5 dollar bill.
Now for the second problem, all the coin door wiring, lights, switches, coin shoots had been removed from the game. I figured the coin door harness had to be connected to the red 10 pin plug so with a JAMMA diagram for reference I traced the wires from the red 10 pin plug back to the JAMMA harness one at a time . Here's what I found out.
Pin 1-Red-to pin 3 on JAMMA connector-+5volts DC
Pin 2-Black/Yellow-to pin 1 on JAMMA connector-Ground
Pin 3-Black-to pin f on JAMMA connector-Ground
Pin 4-Brown-to pin 16-JAMMA connector-Coin 1
Pin 5-Gray-to pin T-JAMMA connector-Coin 2
Pin 6-Red-Looped to pin 1 which runs to pin 3-JAMMA connector-+5volts DC
Pin 7-NC (no connection)
Pin 8-Brown/Yellow-to pin 8-JAMMA connector-Coin Counter 1
Pin 9-NC
Pin 10-NC
So I wired up a 10 pin header to match the pinouts, plugged it into the Red 10 pin plug and first I hooked up the coin counter to pins 6 and 8. Then I stripped one of the grounds and the wires for coin 1 & 2.
I fired up the game and first tested coin 1 and it gave me one credit and one count on the coin meter. Next I shorted the coin 2 wire and got one credit and one count on the coin meter and the coin counter is also working with the dollar bill validator too. So now I have all the wiring figured out, just waiting for Happ Controls to send me my new coin door and I have a new Space gun on the way too from Arcade Emulator.
After I get this part done I guess I'll cap the monitor and maybe put some new T-molding on the cabinet, some of it is in rough shape and coming loose in the curves like it's shrunk in length and is now to short and I still have to put the top on.
That's all for now. O and I couldn't waste the credits so I was forced to play for a wile.:D
