I was moving a stack of them from one storage unit to another... I set them down, on edge, and as soon as they touched the ground the one closest to me... a plain glass with some black borders... simply exploded into a bazillion pieces. There were pieces 20 feet away! Several small cuts on my hand was the worst of it but it was LOUD.

Why does that happen?

While moving a Virtua Fighter machine I had the marquee fall off and smack me in the face(shattering on impact). Luckily my eyes closed from the impact and I had glasses on.

What sucks is when you're cleaning it up and you have big chunks of web shattered art staring at you. Reminding you of what just broke (even if it is easily replaced).

When I saw the newest one I thought it looked like a Frenzy but I was hoping it wasn't.

I used to work on a sliding glass door line years ago and one day when I was the one loading glass onto the line I had a double sheet of tempered in my hands carrying it over when it suddenly turned to rubble. Talk about an experience.

It is a lot safer than breaking a sheet of regular glass that will slice your arm or leg or worse. I have only broken 1 glass and I can't remember what it was.
