was afraid this puppy wasnt going to make it to the basement because of its height.. well it did with 1/2" to spare too :) NO thanks to all my awesome friends and family I asked to help too.. I got it down solo, and the sides do not come off this one like the manual says it should.. anyone else have some giants they though wouldnt fit?

Woah, nice! That beast must have been a pain to move. I must say "Congrats!."

As for me, I wasn't so sure that my Omega Race cockpit would fit in a minivan. Sorry about the small pic, but you can see it barely fits in the van.

yeah i know all about moving deluxe cabs..

getting my monitor down was actually easy, but my main unit on my star wars trilogy is super wide..

i had to totallt take it apart doen to a bare metal frame, twist it at an angle, pry it through the doorway with a prybar, and then reassemble lol

Neat game!! i wish i had one

Hmm that game looks familiar. . . CL buy? :)

And here I was expecting something about Phet with the thread title...

:eek::eek::eek:

Congrats on getting the game down there!

Congrats! My toughest move so far has been my 6 player X-Men. There is an opening in the stairway wall now thanks to that game and the door frame had to be completely removed but it finally fit. Right now I'm also looking at a very tough move coming up in the next few weeks with a Star Wars Trilogy deluxe cabinet. Oddly enough the part I'm most worried about moving is the control panel box. It looks like it can be taken apart even more than it is now so hopefully that will give it the clearance needed to make it through the door. The seat may be a bit of a pain, but that too can probably be taken apart more.

You mention the main unit of the SWT being super wide....are you talking about the control panel box or the monitor box? Just curious because as I mentioned above I'm looking at making a newly acquired SWT fit downstairs. The doorway is too narrow right now for the control panel section, but what I'd call the main unit where the monitor is will fit fine. I'll be in trouble if I can't take the control panel apart much more than it sits now. I should note on mine that the cp is the style like Ocean Hunter cab so that may help or hurt.

damn stitch, you must be jacked to move that thing around by yourself! :D

Hardly, I have just gotten very very good at using a furniture dolly and then sliding things down the stairs on their side :p

well actually I was the one selling it, I didnt want too and my wife saw how bummed I was about selling it and insisted I cut it to fit and get it downstairs :)

Holy crap, Stitch. That thing looks like a beast.

What's the weight on it?

total its very heavy, but I took out the "monitor" (50" television) and it made it alot better to move
