I am having some graphic issues with my Ms Pacman Cocktail. You cannot see the ghosts or Ms Pacman at all. But you can see where she eats the pellets (they disappear as you move the controls) I added the 96 in 1, in hopes it would fix the problem. But no dice. All the games behave the same way with characters missing from the screen. Anyone have any idea what could cause this?

Thanks
Eaon

2B p1 is high, or p2&3 or 3&4 or 4&5 shorted.

2A p12&13 or p11&12 shorted.

2E short pin7 to p10.

1E, 2E p15 shorted to p 11,12,13,14.

3D Bad or Removed.

3A, 3B p1 low.

3B p1 short to p8.

Signal 3E p6 to 3A,3B p1.

2F 10,13 low.

Either pins on chip at location (XX) are shorted out, i.e touching each other or the chip in question has internally died, really need a scope or logic probe to find out which although shorts can often be found with a meter and continuity beep setting.

Hi & Lo are logic levels at which the chips operate, basically voltages. *Usually* Logic Hi=3-5VDC & Logic Lo=0-2VDC

(XX) Bad or removed means either dead chip or missing chip at that location, in this case 3D which is 74LS75

Got it, Looks like the chip at 3d might be the problem. Found a couple other posts after I posted this one. I will try replacing it first if I can find one. Thanks for the help.

3D is soldered in, not socketed, so be ready for that... I just replaced this a few days ago and unfortunately it didn't fix my issue... I ordered 3F & 3H from Riptor to try next!
