I just bought a Ivan Stewart Offroad game and the guy told me it just stopped working one day after he moved it. He thought a wire got frayed but I don't think that is the case as I have looked over all of the wiring. The screen has green and black lines across it. There is no sound. It looks like the power supply is a Happ Controls Power Supply Pro. From what I can tell all of the wiring looks correct with the power supply. It is outputing right at 5v. Please let me know what pictures I need to post and I will.

The biggest problem with that game is the batteries on the pcb..take a look at the bottom right corner I think.. See if they have leaked.. Hopefully not.

Test the voltage where it hits the board or across a chip on the board and see if you have 5v there. Often by the time the voltage gets to the board it is less than at the ps and not enough to make the game run. Also some games need a little more than 5v to run. That's where I would start based on what you say is happening. If that yields no results then maybe I would start thinking it could be a board issue. IIRC that game is jamma. IF so trying a different jamma board would allow you to confirm some basics like if the ps seems to be working fine, if the credit switch and probably start buttons are working.

I believe the manual calls for 5.1-5.2 something like that, can't remember now.

The main problem with these boards, is that they die. I've heard some people (not on here) say it's a suicide battery.

The question isn't if your off road board will die (with absolutely zero possibility of getting it repaired) it's when. :(

Surprisingly the manual says to make sure it is between 5.2 and 5.24V... No wonder these boards don't last long, what a terrible design.

It's a 3 player Track Pak btw. I will take pictures tonight. I am going to pull the boards out and reseat all of the chips. I'll take pictures of them when they're out so you can see if you notice anything.
