Restoring a DK and thought it'd be a good idea to cap the chassis and sound board on the 20ez. Right after capping the boot sound is off, the jump sound is off and I have jailbars on the monitor now. Otherwise it plays normally. I've got a couple ideas for troubleshooting but appreciate any suggestions from the gurus out there.

Thanks!

there is something wrong with your pcb, those graphic problems.

Think you're right, the pcb was removed to restore the cabinet and I hadn't tried it since reassembling and capping the monitor.

Going to re-seat the roms tonight and look for any obvious signs of trace damage. I have an ArcadeSD setup to make this a multi-kong so I'll give that a try as well to confirm it's a board issue.

Thanks!

I isolated my issue to the PCB, using an ArcadeSD the image was fine. It happens both with the Remix daughtercard installed and without. I've tried re-seating the roms, next I was going to pick up a PCB cap kit from Arcade Parts & Repair.

Any other suggestions or does this issue look familiar to anyone?

You can hear the jump sound and see the bars in the video below.

Bad ram is my guess.

Humm, seems some of the new kits have a good RAM test ->
