Getting a arcade monitor to replace LCD in cab and going to add a transformer. Question, I am going to use the AC outlet on the power supply but there are only 2 wires running to CRT. Do I ground to the neutral or earth ground?
IM using the outlet because the other wires are already being used. Here is the power supply. Happ 20 Amp

Thanks!

The whole purpose of the iso transformer is to keep it from ground.

Do some advanced search here on klov. There are many topics on this.

You can take a look in this thread and video to answer your questions:

You can power the supply from the isolated Monitor AC, just run a separate ground (FG/Field Ground) to the earth ground coming in from the wall. That way you also ensure it is switched with the cabinet power.

I recently made up some adapters for a friend to easily hijack the monitor power without having to cut (or use wiretaps) the harness. This was for a Suzo Happ supply too.

This one was for a QBert:

For Williams:

Here it is mounted (using my Williams PS adapter and Happ Mounting Bracket)
