I have a WG monitor that's fairly new (2004). I was wondering does it matter what type of Isolation Transformer I hook up to it as long as it does over 100V?
Thanks,
Kane

Would really need to know the model and size of monitor to consult the manual for it.

Some modern monitors don't require an isolation xformer. But it never hurts to use one.

In general, many newer monitors will run on a fairly wide range of input voltages, perhaps as low as 90VAC and as high as 240 or 250VAC. So voltage likely isn't really an issue.

Make sure the xformer can supply sufficient current/power. Check you monitor power consumption rating and make sure the iso can provide that amount of power (i.e. 120W). Some large monitors may require more than 120W.
