ISO New CNC'd cabinets in the Southwest(ish)

Not a CNC expert...

But I thought there are "tabs" that connect pieces to the main board.

Makes sense...but withe the "homemade" version above...there is no way to raise and lower the bit.

Unless they have you manually stop and start the cutting in a new position.

Does anyone have plans for the IT pedestal cab used in the newer Golden Tee games?

It's funny you ask about that pedestal cab. I was watching a video on upgrading the game on youtube and was thinking about how easy it would be to make one of those pedestals.

I've been tracking that Maslow thing as well -

I've dug into reviews on it and they are mixed - its apparently pretty bad at cutting straight lines in general and can't cut a straight line over about 2ft without creating an unintentional curvature in it.

I hope they work out the kinks in it though. I would love to have a setup that cheap and with such a small footprint.

For 350 the Kickstarter CNC would be amazing. Now to find accurate cabinet plans. If anything I've always wanted to make a candy cab out of wood haha.

They are behind in keeping up with the demand. Currently you can donate and get in line but you can't buy one.

It also has accuracy issues for numerous reasons. It's a really good start at something but I don't think it's quite there.

sorry I don't have much more to add than my last post.

Still haven't heard back from Lee.

Rob,

I know mike has offered Nintendo style cabs and I'm pretty sure some other styles as well (just like arcade shop)

If you are up for collecting cabinets I'd be in for some. Vegas is 2 hours closer for me. I'd love to work out a deal with you if that's something you think is possible. (for transporting them back to Vegas)

Hey sorry about that. Will give you details in email...

I was talking with arcade shop, thy want almost 500$ just to ship ontop of price of said cabinet to my door.. .screw that lol.. ill just keep spamming cl/offer up

I saw what thy offered, thy look more like xtension styling and not what I was hoping for ( looking for something that looks like a real cabinet and not mame design that belongs on byoc )...

I don't care for their style of cabs but they are some what local. Did you call them and asked if they could make you a a classic 80's cab?

I have never used them personally cause I make my own cabs for my personal own use and have zero interest sell cabs.

it was thro email only.. I was looking at Nintendo vs/dk style cab.. 400 not tht bad... but 500 just to ship seems too high.. wish it was flatpacked tht could cut down shipping to less than 1/2.. I worked for office depot in past and shipping flatpacked desk cost nowhere even close to that ammunt
