Found a location that can host my Namco Hello Kitty kiddie ride, but they are requiring insurance coverage. I don't run a business, and it isn't my area of expertise, so I'm looking for any advice or recommendations on how to get insurance on this kind of thing. Basically, this would be put in use within an indoor shopping mall here in Northern California. Thanks in advance.

make it a condition of the contract, that it is covered under their, or the malls, ins.
as if you purch. ins for it, all revenue and then some would likely just pay for the ins.

Sad to say, but he's right.

It isn't the unit, as much as how litigious our society has become.

Example: I fell years ago and bumped my head in the library parking lot.

My parents took me to the hospital, got a head x-ray, and payed for all of it.

Did they sue the library? Nope.

Today, people sue because their kid ran on to the highway and got hit by a car. It's not THEIR fault.
