Hello, i recently purchased a wwf wrestlefest with a broken monitor, i would like to buy a replacement chassis or have someone rebuild the one i have. Interesting note though the chassis says its a hantarex 9110 but the neck board says its a hantarex mtc 9000, would appreciate any info why they would say they are different, thanks

The 9110 comes with the extra fan on top to help drive temperature down with the bigger tubes (generally 25"). A replacement depends on your tube size, which you did not specify.

Sorry, its a 25" and after some research it seems they put the 9000 tag on 9110 neckboards, I'm pretty positive it's a hantarex 9110

20inch and up should have the fan.

Not a good chassis

any chassis that has to have a fan blowing on the HV parts

is not a good chassis to restore for years to come.

Just to fix and sell is ok. or swap with a working chassis.

Measure the yoke and match it up to another chassis.

so that means disconnect the yoke plug and zero your ohm meter

so you know if any internal ohms is being added to you total ohms

so you have the correct ohms for each winding, when measuring very low ohms.

The parts overheat the chassis even with the fan blowing.

Just my 2 cents on the chassis.

This totally sounds like the same monitor that I have. It is a 9110. That just means it has the extra parts such as the fan. When I got mine it had never been serviced and basically just quit. It was revived and work for a while by my friend and klov member NoAfinity. Not only did he do to pass their job but he cleaned it up and even put a fly back on it although that was a pain in the butt. Recently the monitor blew a Transformer I'm hoping that it was just because of switching power supply was out of whack. Regardless I actually kind of like the monitor chassis. And I'm sure that my buddy would say this was the hardest one for him to work on but it was also very rewarding as it was basically DOA. And the good thing about it is that there are actually flying bags that will work here not every monitor has a replacement fly back

Same experience for me. It had the fan, with a 25" and performed great for years in home use. It was not in a hot arcade, but the room could go up to 30 celsius at times. I sold it a few years back, and as far as i know it's still in service.
