I've been browsing for a game room score tracker that is easy to update, does not require players to create an account, has a great interface and is easy to set up and maintain.

Griffin's arcadeicons.com scoreboard is decent, but it requires users to create an account.

I've come across iScored on Pinside and I think it's pretty sweet. For $19.95 lifetime, this might be the best going for what I'm looking for.

Anyone currently using it? Pros, cons? www.iscored.info

That looks really cool. Going to take a serious look at this. I don't have a touch screen monitor, but I have a flat screen with no purpose at the moment. Thanks for posting.

I finally pulled my cable from down in the game room, as no one watches the TV down there. So I've got flat screen with no purpose already hanging on the wall. I've done the Arcade Icons scoreboard on it before using an iPad and Apple TV for my sons and I, but no one wants to create an account to enter their scores. I'm sure iScored on an iPad/Apple TV would work just the same.

Man. Why isn't this just an app? If hosting gets too expensive in a couple years - it's gone.

From the creator:

The main issue is portability. In its current form, it works and is easily obtainable on any device with a modern web browser, whether it's Mac, Windows, Android, iOS, Linux, or whatever. The same code runs on every client, and i can support an incredible range of devices. The last thing I want to deal with is Android, Apple, Microsoft, or any other app stores, and their various policies and payment models and approval processes and whatever.

He also said that hosting is currently paid up for another 3 years.

Hmmm.

I bought this with the intention of having an iPad to use for score entry. Then hang a tv on the wall with a raspberry pi browser pointing at the website for a scoreboard. Never implemented it but that was/is the plan.

It's really pretty cool. You can go crazy with customization for each game. I like it so far.

I did a real quick version with flyers at the top and customized colors and fonts for each score. It was just a test run to see how deep I want to go... probably too simple for my tastes though...

Nice, looks good. Question for you since you're using it now. In order to run this, do you need to be connected to the internet?

Yes. You're displaying a web page on their server.

I've been playing with it more... still not where I want it, but better IMO.

This apparently isn't popular here, but I've got my theme dialed in. If you are by chance interested in it, go to the Community section while logged in and search by author, "Oldtymetoys" or sort by most recent date and you'll find the games I have made with the "Flyer art" theme.
