I remember going to the Fry's Grocery store on Meridian & Kooser!

The "IC" Fry's moved down the street to a building at least twice the size. Weird Stuff also moved waaaay down Lawrence past Twin Creeks. Its now right across the street from Yahoo. The old WS building was a T-Zone for a while.

Tom, thanks for the update. I haven't been out that way in a while, so it is good to know WSW is still in business. I saw in the history that Fry's didn't have a store in Santa Clara, was that the one in Sunnyvale? (Like I said I haven't been there in a while). It was always hit the Computer Literacy bookstore the first day, Fry's & WSW the second and the wine country if we had time....

Friends of mine that live in places without Fry's...are jealous!

Friends of mine that live in places with only one Fry's are jealous!

Here in Houston, we have THREE Fry's store to go to. Well, two in Houston and one in Clear Lake, but the furthest two are only about 38 miles apart. The Clear Lake store is the NASA Fry's with a space theme, including a large-scale model of the space station and Soyuz module hanging from the ceiling, and light fixtures that are intermingled with solar panels. This store is the reason non-sale items cost so much at Fry's!

Pictures found on internet.

I usually hit the one on 45 & West Rd (Oil theme) just because it is sort of on the way home.
