Here we have a Qbert video game. It needs some MPU board work. The game powers up and works. The QBERT sprite is missing or garbled up. Should be a simple fix.

I'd say somewhere in the three hundreds.

Very hard to determine with just one picture, though. I'd be looking for water damage elsewhere if that's rust on the coin door...

It is probably several fixes - sound board, knocker, main board, power supply, monitor, cabinet repair. That is a $400 game tops.

If 400 is all you offer for a complete machine, I hate to see what your offer is on a cabinet. I would probably be better off taking off all the control panels off, marquees, coin doors, bezels, boards, power supplies, and more and just listing them piece by piece. You act like I do not know what my stuff is worth. When you buy a game from me, I do not care what you do with it. You must be really local to make a statement like that. I am very close in parting a lot of my games completely out and hauling the cabinets to the dump after taking a sledgehammer to them.

Steve This is what he said when offered him $400 for it fuck this guy.

'Cause he doesn't? Or it would have sold long ago?

Just call him... Capt. Clueless!

FWIW, Exidy agrees with the input here and lists it as $350-$450 in good condition -- which this one isn't.

It'll still be for sale months from now and eventually he'll start dropping the price.

I told him am new too this but am starting too see what things go for.I told him i bought a working 720 cab, in nice condition brand new monitor minus side art for $600. he said this to me.
Why don't you make your own cabinets since you will probably nick pick everything I have anyway. Mostly what I have is good stuff. Maybe needs to be shopped, cleaned. However, I am not going to deal if all you will do is tell me what you paid for your games and try to find something wrong with my stuff BEFORE you even see it. Good Day

Asking for an idea on a price on a game is not always always cut and dry. Some games just go for more money depending on where they are and if there has been an upswing in the interest of the game. Qbert arcade games did jump up in price due to the movie Wreck it Ralph.

On ebay some qberts were recently sold between 450 to 515. So an offer 400 might have been a little low of an offer.

Transportation cost are something to consider too. A 200 dollar qbert sounds like a cheap deal but if you spending 400 to bring it to you that 500 dollar local qbert is a much better deal if they are both in the same condition.

And of course, this is just my own opinions.

For some people a working game is all that matters even if it is swollen and leaves a trail of mulch any time it's moved. For this guy even though it is partially working it is still worth it's weight in gold. That picture says a thousand words and he is frustrated that people do not feel the same way that he does. He likely over paid himself and now thinks he is getting gouged.

There is little on that machine that can be parted for 400$ in the shape that it's in. He is totally clueless.

I was thinking about this stuff today when shopping for a ladder. Some A*hole pulls up to my moving sale a few years back and wants my fiberglass 25 foot extension ladder that has been garaged and is less than a year old. He says I'll give you 25$ I tell him he is crazy and how much it is worth; and he tells me well it's 25$ more than you have now. I looked him in the eye and told him I would rather give it to a friend for free than let someone take advantage of me. Maybe being clueless he feels the same way?????

the guy is a douche. i talked to him about it an he was rather rude. he said he could get what he wanted for it in parts. then i told him to part it out and he shut up quick.

From the sellers bad attitude responses seems like a douche to me, tell him to part it out and good luck with it. I checked ebay and it's no longer posted for sale.
