I think there will be a lot more HD remakes coming.Makes business sense to me..Basically same game, but in HD so minimal changes and less money spent on it.Plus even though it's the same game,it's different enough to warrant a lot of people to buy it.

You what would be awesome to see as added content to SotC? Multiplayer/Co-op colossus killing :D No, really - for those that never saw it (I have the DVD), check out the tech demo for Project Nico, which is what eventually became SotC. Now think of that in terms of online multiplayer.

I think that is the main reason they haven't implemented the backwards compatability with the PS3 yet.

I'm all for HD remakes, for sure, though. Some games I'll buy on every platform they come out on.

This is part of what makes people so pissed about no PS2 BC anymore. For me, though, I still have a PS2 which never gets played...of course it looks like ass on my 46" LCD, even with component output...but still. I'd much rather have HD remakes with trophy support, etc, than be able to play my original PS2 discs on my PS3.

For sure.

I had a BC PS3 for a little over a year. I will be honest... a PS2 game was never even put in it. I played PS1 games on it all the time, though.

I forgot about trophy support and such, too. I'm all for that, if they are fun trophies.

I been pushing my parents like crazy to get a 3d, there in the market for a new one right now as we speak so I can only hope. there willing to spend like 1500 so im trying to push the extra 500, plus it comes with a blu ray player so im trying to sell em on it haha

It's just a generic date. Unless it's a Tuesday assume any 1st or 30th/31st date is a placeholder (unless it's Nintendo, all their stuff releases on Sundays).

Example - Vendor says this game is coming out in June 2011... it'll get listed with a 6/1/11 or 6/30/11 date depending on the retailer. Personally I think 6/30 is better as if ends up coming out on 6/22 people like to see that release date move in, and not out.

Im actually hoping my dlp projector bulb goes out so I can buy the 3d version and sell this one.

I did not care about 3D TV or games until I read this would be in 3D :p
