Called them today about outstanding orders and instead of the usual terminal hold I got an out-of-office message saying they "would return to work November 27, 2023."

Has anyone done business with them in the last few weeks?

Looks like they posted on bookface in early January. That's all I've got.

Phoenix Arcade is usually first stop, but been using Olly @ Arcade Art Shop lately and been pretty happy with the quality and promised delivery dates. Purchased a Klax with the typical 90s Atari yellowing/cracked overlays/translite and he was one of the few that offered replacements, even offering the option to print marquee translites onto plexi.

Quality is fantastic, not sure why he's not mentioned here more often.

Talked with him before, great guy. He actually found me someone local to provide the same service. Will use him if the need ever arises.

Yep I've used him on at least one project and he delivered, but it took awhile. I kept getting put on the back burner and sometimes it seemed like I was completely forgotten, but he eventually came through. In spite of the wait, the stuff I received was great quality and I'd use him again.

I still don't understand why this is so acceptable in this hobby. Ive been in many hobbies over the years and even dealt with custom parts manufacturing myself and I've never seen other industries treat customers like this. If they really have that much business that they are months/years behind then they obviously have enough money coming in to hire more help to take care of their customers.

i think for a long while back in the day, TOG was one of the only repro arcade art operations, so folks desperate to have a minty looking game got used to simping 4 Dick Lint.
anyone wanting to give money away for nothing to people that hate them, just pay extra taxes
