Is this JAMMA Wire Harness Cheap?

Let me just say the following. The whole "Glass Half Full/Glass Half Empty" argument means the following.

Some people (Optimists) see things as positive... so when they see a glass of milk they think "It's half full!". That's generally considered a GOOD thing.

I think you mean "Glass Half Empty"... which means that they're generally pessimistic, and when they see a glass of milk they notice half of it is already gone. That's generally considered a bad thing.

Not that it matters at this point, but I think the O.P. did mean to use half full. I believe what he was trying to say was no matter what valid point he brings up regarding BR's "antiquated" payment system, people who are die hard BR supporters will not recognize or acknowledge that issue even though deep down they might not like it. They'll then talk and glorify about other bullet points on his site to mask/smoke screen/draw attention from the obvious issue.

The obvious issue at hand in this thread is mostly about his payment system with mailing checks. I don't think the OP objects to everyone else saying that cross shipping, customer service, etc is fantastic.

And frankly, it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. If you need to do business with BR, you'll either do it his way, or you don't get BR goods. Plain & simple. Nature of the beast.

PS: Both you and lyonsarcade are correct. The saying about those people is that they look at life with the glass half empty mind set. You are also right, everything you said about my posts is 100% accurate.

Im not going to get in the middle of this entire "Bob Roberts" debate. I'll answer your initial question.....Yes!...that is a cheap JAMMA harness. Price wise....probably the cheapest you'll find! Quality wise.....probably the cheapest you'll find. Will that harness work for your needs, yes.....but it's still garbage Now, if you were to install a more "power hungry" game board.....that harness would probably shit out and burn up.

I have personally seen these harnesses (customer's have bought them, and had me wire up their cabinets with them). These harnesses have some of the smallest wire I've ever seen in a harness....some of it looks like 24g!!!! Sometimes you do get what you pay for.

Bob Roberts and ArcadeShop both sell a nice JAMMA harness (Bob's is better, but ArcadeShop's is totally acceptable). When I need a JAMMA harness, it comes from one of these two. I know both of these people/places sell "good" harnesses. I'm sure others do too, but I only have experience with these two. I stick with what I know. There is a lot of shitty harness being made. I will not install shit in a customers game (unless said customer gives me shit, and asks me to....It's their money, I warn them first.....then it's their decision.).
