Is this JAMMA Wire Harness Cheap?

if its who i think it is you might be able to get it cheaper directly from him cause he wont have to pay ebay fees
Armis is his name ?

Generally, you want a harness with a connector that is "fully stuffed". In other words, a wire going to every pin in the connector. And the power wires & ground wires should be 18 gauge wire not the small 22 gauge stuff.

The one shown in that auction link has a lot of empty holes in it.

Thanks again Ken. I will search epay for one that meets those specs. Although I have whole rolls of 18 gauge threaded wire, so I wonder if I should just buy a bare harness and the appropriate connectors...

Bob Roberts sells a fully loaded 18gauge power 20gauge I/O harness for $26.

The only thing that sucks about TRBR is you can't order/pay easily. If he could solve that issue he would be the #1 seller of most things arcade.

Just copy and paste with the quantity in an email along with your address and Bob will send you the total and address to send payment.
He then will cross ship while you simply send a check.
Quarter Arcade has them also.

That was less of a headache 15 years ago, but now, online shopping has made mailing a check a headache. Funny (or not) how things have changed...Anyway thanks for the info! Also, thanks for the link to Quarterarcade. I searched arcadeshop, jammaboards, Nixs, and paradisearcade for the fully loaded harness. So far, quarterarcade and TRBR are the only two sites I have seen that sell it.
Thanks guys,
Greg

Bob IS the #1 seller of most things arcade. ;) If you need a part, Bob has it. period. Set him up with your online bank as a billpay- then you can pay him "electronically"!

What most do that order from Bob is place large orders so it's worth everyone's time.

Online bill pay FTW. No envelope, stamp or anything else to bother with.

Man how lazy people are in this day and age where it is too much to simply mail out a check.

I think it is more of a convenience thing. Just like dishwashers instead of hand washing, driving instead of a horse and saddle, etc...:)

What a headache...lol :)

My $.02 -- order from Bob. His stuff is top notch.

I tried ordering a couple of cheap jamma extender cables (different beast than what you're after) to save some money and the product quality was awful. I ordered from Bob and it was great quality stuff. Lesson learned.

I can see it now."Sorry honey not tonight it's not convenient".:D

As long as I have a twig and berries that will never be inconvenient for me. Like the average male, I think with my little brain first, then revert to the big brain in cases where the little brain is inapplicable. ;)

as a matter of fact, i just went from one of those shitbox harnesses to a bob roberts harness for my multi williams, and the quality is way worth it. if you think about it, mailing a check is as easy as leaving the flag on your mailbox up. hell, for me, i can send checks from my account through chase.com. i just setup the info online, and they mail out a check for me.

but a side note, i was thinking today - wouldn't it be cool if bob roberts' middle name was also bob, or robert. i think so.

Stop thinking about Bob Roberts with your "little brain".
