Hello all,

Need some help. I thought I found a play choice but now I am not sure what this is. Can some tell me if this is an original Nintendo cab? Doesn't look like it to me but I am fairly new to this. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1339442759.565617.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1339442773.608493.jpg

Yep Nintendo Vs. Midway conversion kit. Pretty common in the mid to late 80's when Pacman and Galaxian weren't earning anymore. I fixed one of these up for a bottle club here in town a few years back:

How much do these normally run for? I got some more pics. Seems like it was a Hogan's Alley.

Did these run on play choice hardware? View attachment 111741

No, they are similar but predated the Playchoice, The games weren't the NES game, but a special version that was adapted for arcades.

The Playchoice was just NES games in an arcade cabinet.

That cabinet you have there can be converted to a Playchoice, or it can run other Vs games by swapping the ROMs and the PPU in it.

That bad? Worth like a buck? Lol

Not worth much, pretty much a hellcade.

Hellcade? Whats that mean?

Man, I really thought this was a playchoice before I saw the pics. Bummer dude.

I haven't seen one of those in person. The closest I got was a left over control panel and an empty conversion kit box. I don't know what I would do if I ran across a machine. Vs. games are great and all but I don't think I would want to play them in a Midway cabinet.
