Please help me identify this chassis. I'm thinking Hantarex Polo, but don't believe I have ever seen one. Thanks!

I'm helping another collector with his Time Crisis 3 and one of the two monitors is dead. I'm not sure if it's a 27" or 28" monitor, especially since neither of the two manuals on the Namco website exactly match his TC3.

There is no HV, neckglow, etc. and it's in need of a refresh and repair. My intent is to send it to a guru, especially since I only have the chassis.

that's not a Polo. it's not even a Hantarex. I would venture it's a Asian monitor of some variety. doesn't look Kortek or Sharp Image. doesn't look Nanao. I don't know. Time Crisis 3 is a VGA game too if I'm not mistaken.

Could of swore I've heard this before. Tc3 with a Sanwa PM1745...

I did indeed...

Btw, if you didnt catch that you have a Sanwa PM1745

Yellow wires and green glued caps gave it away.

Thanks everyone for the help. I really appreciate it.

While I don't know if the monitor itself is VGA, I do know the computer has a VGA port and cable is plugged in it. There is another board inline, if I recall correctly, so I was thinking it might be downgrading to CGA.

I'll check again once the chassis is sent out and repaired. For now, it's heading to Chad at ArcadeCup for repair.

In reviewing the manual, thanks M K L, it says this is only a CGA and EGA monitor, not VGA. Additionally, the molex connector layout is different than what I recall (it was marked in the cabinet and I had to confirm it to measure the 120v input). Maybe differences between the two cabinets explains the wiring difference.

I was going to guess Sanwa, I've never actually seen one of those before though. but maybe I have. Sega may have used these in some markets, I could be wrong and they were exclusively Nanao out of Japan and Wells-Gardner in North America.

I think Time Crisis 3 would have come with Wells-Gardner D9200s stock.

Both monitors match and look factory, but who knows.

Info on the Sanwa monitor is before page 130 (after that it's about Nanao MS9-29).

It's indeed 15KHz and 25KHz but for unknown reasons on yours the 25KHz connector (HIGH CN405) has been removed.

Thanks for the clarification. Guess that explains some things about the game set-up. Much appreciated.
