I thought it was and ordered a flyback from Chad, but I had someone say it looked like a different chassis...

Blargh. Does that mean the tube connector is compatible with a K7000 chassis?its a
Kortek KTW-N 26
k7000 clone almost only a couple caps different on the cap kit and locations and no flyback available for the kortek that i have ever seen.

I have a 25" k7000 sitting in the shelf... Seems a shame though.from what i recall the yoke is not k7000 compatible and would have to be swapped. it should be a 10pin neck and i have a thread of Buffett's that i replied to and i gave him the yoke readings on that kortek. i haven't tried it but if you swap the yoke and have a 10pin k7000 it will work with the tube.

It looks great and shuts off after a few minutes. I hope it isn't the flyback
Good point, I'm no expert so I was just planning on testing everything.why are you checking the HOT? it either works or it doesn't. not entirely sure why people keep replacing parts that don't need to be. the VR on the other hand could be out of whack if the B+ is too high and it's going into shutdown.
