Zenith TV, Model SA1961W, made in 1984, Tube has 19V100. Tube is Zenith A48AAX02X. The neck is key, 2 spaces, 8 pins, 1 space.

I know the 19V100 matches what a 6100 has. What about the rest? 6100? Or can it be used in any other classic tube?

The A48AAX02X tube has a CR-23 neck.

The 6100 used a 19VLUP22 which has a CR-24 neck.

Bummer. Can I use it in a 4900, G07 or 4600? I know they used V90's, but still...

Hey, what's the "V" stand for anyways?

I dunno for sure, but I know the 90 means 90-degree deflection. I've tried using a 100 for a normal monitor and had a lot of issues with discoloration (like bad degauss) due to the yoke not sitting in the right spot...

If it's a V100, it should be shallower than a normal tube, and it'll work better in a 6100. The neck connector is different, but that doesn't matter too much. Just desolder the neckboard connector from the TV set, and use it to replace the connector on the 6100's neckboard. The pinout is the same, it's just the plastic keyway that is different. A CR-23 connector should fit right onto the 6100 neckboard.
