I know pcolson and r5g whom are both in Reno and have met them and are both great guys, but surely the biggest gaming state has more than 3 active arcade collectors?

Hey, do you remember the name of the guy that used to run "Starcade" in Sparks, NV?

I seem to recall that his first name was Roger. I've been trying to track him and his old head tech down for awhile..... Blaine was the name of the tech, I believe.

Anyone?

Starcade sounds so familiar, where was that from???

"Starcade" is also the name of the arcade located at Disneyland.

I was always amused by the name they chose for their business (in Sparks).... They had a route and repaired machines for clients. They still had a 2500sqft place back in 2000-2001 or so, but I lost track of them right around that time. I had purchased (as in PAID FOR) a line of SW uprights from them and I never got the games. I think they went under and sold their business. Obviously I have no recourse, just wondering what happened to them.

Starcade was also a TV game show about video games. :)

Oh yes, Starcade Amusement. I still find on yellowpages that they have different buildings on Greg st and a few other locations. Ive always been meaning to drop by and see what they have to offer.
