:remove parts from cut-tape like these seen below? I can get them out, but it's very time consuming....

You could try fire I suppose. I agree, they are a pain. I've never experimented with putting them in a warm oven or anything like that but it might help. Or there's acid. :)
 
youll call me crazy but mabye have a small bowl of water, let just the paper/cardboard part soak in the water for a minuite or so, then mabye the caps would pull right out of the tape and cardboard easily.. could also try with acetone or alchol...
 
Cut cardboard and peel tape?

Peeling the tape just makes the parts come off on the tape with some cardboard backing still attached. Even more time consuming then to get tape residue off the legs so they won't get stuck going in the holes...
 
It couldn't have been too bad...it was only 42 minutes from your first post to when you said you were all done, with a couple posts in between. :D

What he said but instead of acetone, I would use old flux remover remove to clean the legs.
I use to do thousands of parts that way in the days I manager a surplus electronics store.
