Is there a web site for checking video game prices?

Hi, curious if anyone is aware of a website out there for checking prices on video games? I have a great site for pinball but now of nothing for videogames. Maybe I am missing it but what a great addition to klov. Right now I am looking for a price on a Gorf. Its really hard to call out a price to a fellow collector with out knowing what there going for. Game is in need of side art controll panel overlay and plastic light housing for below the controll panel. The game will need some workdont to the front since someone installed a service door belowthe coin door. Also missing the back.. The good is the cabinet is solid and has working boards and monitor was capped.. What are your thoughts on value..Thanks Byan

Exidy price guide.. (use google) says 300 to 450

However given all the issues you mentioned.. My price police training would say 200 to 250 IMHO.

inb4 Joe posts "Yeah, there's a great site for that. It's called KLOV."

Good luck with your sale. Gorfs are cool.

Exidy's price guide is a good reference but you really have to know your area and what games sell for there. have to be aware which titles pop up often and which almost never. A few years back in California there were a few fully working gorfs that sat on Cl for weeks if not longer with the asking price of $100. So at that time in my area I would not have paid more than $200 max for a pristine gorf. Now they do not pop up as often in my area so if I did not already have one I might raise my price closer to the $300 range. Not sure what gorfs sold for in other areas at that time but as always it varies. I have bought a number of complete working Donkey Kongs in the $100-150 range. I know for a fact while I was seeing a lot of these in my area they were selling in the $400-500 range in other areas.

Unlike pins, most video games can be had relatively cheap. Usually when buying an item that costs $50-500 most folks will not pay $450 on top of that to ship. This keeps a lot of the prices regional IMO. With the variance of price in each different area it's pretty hard to create an accurate price guide.
