Is there a trick to the Firefox/Star Wars yoke front cover

I've removed the four security screws on the top and bottom and can slightly lift the edges of the front cover but the thing won't budge. Is there a trick to this?

I've searched on here and Google for this to no avail. I can't even seem to find a picture of the inside of the front cover to see if there's a latch/clip or some such thing.

Any help is appreciated!

No trick, their's nothing but the 4 screws. If something is holding it now it has to be 30 years of crap like spilled soda pop. Here's a couple pictures.

Thanks for the pics!

I suppose it could be rusted on there but I've tugged on it pretty hard.
I'll just give it another go with confidence. Mainly I wanted to be sure I wasn't going to break something with too much force.

Someone may have added double-stick tape to dampen any noise. When you pull on the edges, look for where the metal cover is starting to bend - that is your sticking point. Use a putty knife (at least 1" wide, and carefully) to lever through the goo, and pry up the cover a little at a time.

You can also give it a shot of goo gone to loosen up whatever it is.
