Is there a Ms. Pac Man repository, here?

Were any of the later run upright cabinets made of particle board, or were they all plywood sides? I am curios when exactly they transitioned to partical board.

Great question! I know one of mine definitely has laminate on it for the art, and it looks like particle board underneath.

Every original ms pac has faded the pink. Some worse than others. But I think even if you kept it in a box in a dark warehouse for its whole life it still would have faded a bit. Something chemical about it.

yes. Some particle board cabinets made later years. They ran Ms pacs for a long time. Switched to decals at a certain point. I don't think anyone has a hard date for it. And i don't know anyone who finds those more desirable.

Here is my painted one. Note black textured t-molding on the painted one, smooth blue on the newer one:20250802_141919.jpg20250802_141936.jpg20250802_141450.jpg

Here's a similar video on YT. LOVE IT!!

That is fascinating! Although I'm sure most of those workers wanted nothing more than for their shift to end so they didn't have to look at another damn Ms Pac machine for 16 more hours. Funny to see things like the "drop the same quarter through the mech 50 times" test, which I'm very familiar with myself!
