I have a 13" tv that needs to go. Is it worthwhile for me to get a universal CGA chassis for it? I have no games that use less than 19" monitors. Do people buy 13" std res monitors?

In my opinion the market is small and getting smaller.

The op I work for has been tossing out 13"ers left and right and replacing his 8-liners with smaller LCD cabinets or retrofitting LCD's into his existing stuff.

I have a stack of 13" happ monitors boxed in my garage and maybe another 4 or 5 loose on shelves, and I doubt I'll ever find a use for them all.

Just my 2C though, there may be a market or use I haven't thought of?

would you sell me a good working 13" stand res monitor for a miniature kids arcade project?

shipping to 95035

13" monitors are good for certain cocktails, minis, and test bench monitors.

I wouldn't mind getting hold of another for the test bench. i ended up using my last one for a Defender cocktail, and have a nice 19" on the test-bench right now that would be better suited for a cab...

i agree good for 8liners, test, or mabye a mini project. Not a huge depand, but i wouldnt mind havine one myself to monkey with. I dont think id go out of my way to build one, though

I need a 19" std res, but can't seem to find a 19" tv on the cheap. I have this 13" tv....hate to throw it out. It's a TV/VCR, and the VCR is screwed up. It keeps trying to eject the tape, gets jammed, then shuts the whole thing down. Shame to toss it...

Probably cost $80 to convert it to CGA. Would I be able to sell it for $80?

I find there are tons of 13" monitors out there to be had for cheap. I passed on 20+ bartop megatouchs with monitors for $10 each simply because I dont need them.
Also, 13" monitors can still be had new for pretty cheap.
