Looking to pick up a multiboard and was thinking about the 138 in 1, then I came across the 355 in 1 tornado board which has way more games for the same price. Just wondering if this board is any good?

It is not bad, I still prefer the 188 in 1, unless you really want TMNT and Simpsons. the 188 runs the game better, but does not have the same titles as the tornado . The tornado and 138 are the same motherboard I believe, just loaded with a different SD card file. so for the same price you might as well get the tornado.

I agree with both of these gentlemen. I like the 188-in-1 that Jake is talking about, and I have never played the 355-in-1, but I have heard awful, awful things about it. Sraracde listed a great thread to check out too.

just fired up a game "Tornado" a few days ago for the first time

love it

can't believe i played a few short games of XYBOTS !!!

AWESOME !!!

have experienced none of the complaints i have read about hereandthere

What version of the board did you get? I got mine form the manufacturer in china just waiting for it to arrive. I saw a few different games list for the 355 in 1. One version had Ironmans super off road and outrun on in but the one that I got doesn't have those 2 games on it, but does have 355 games.

just received my board from china last week
didnt notice the game list change but i did notice at one point it was a 352 in 1 at some point

XYBOTS is game number 96 although the manual lists it as # 97

mine does have the SUPER OFF ROAD too

Hmm, the list I got sent doesn't have super off road(wish it did) but it does list xybots as game #97 also. In the add it said is is faster, relaible and more stable so I am wondering if they have worked out the glitches in this board.

Hmm, don't know why list won't open. The list of games I have isn't exaclty the same as the games billybob2236 listed.Hopefully my board runs just as well as yours does splattergatz, could you tell me what number on the games list super off road is on your board. I picked up an empty cabinet for free from a local KLOV memeber, I then found a 19" lcd monitor on craigslist for $30 and since the board has a vga connector I am going to use that instead of a crt monitor. Just a question regarding the jamma harness, did you use a regular jamma harness and add the extra wires for the extra buttons or did you buy a jamma harness that had the wires already built in?

#321

The also have a

[FONT=arial,helvetica,sans-serif]Transformer 311 in 1

That I believe run off the same PCB

My 355 in 1 arrived yesterday and the games on it are the same as the games listed by billybob2236. Even though the manual that came with it shows no outrun or super offroad it does have those games on it which I was glad to see. Don't have my multicabinet together but I did test the board on one of my jamma cabinets to make sure it was working and briefly tried one of the street fighter games and it played well with no slow down in game play:) Just waiting for the jamma harness to arrive that I bought from Cajun arcade so I can get the cabinet together. I also bought a trackball for it. Do games like combat school that had a trackball at the arcade need the trackball to work on this board or can you play the games that used a trackball without a trackball. Can't wait for the harness to arrive so I can get this up and running.

I would be interested to know how Blazing Star and Pulstar run on this board. Can anyone play a few games and post back?
