Is sanding supposed to be this difficult?

Alright, here's my first cabinet painting attempt. I think it turned out pretty well, but don't have anyone here to let me know for sure. I can't wait to put the regal red on.

Check out the first couple pics. Is that what the mist coat is supposed to look like?

Sprayed red today! a few coats of Regal Red mixed with acetone. It's a lot more fun to do than black.

Can't wait to try stencils next.

Orbital like the blue one I used above. It looks like a palm sander, but it rotates around. I also used a palm sander by black & decker that did real well in the tight spaces. Check out my other thread if you want to see the stencil work.

Yo, it was $35 at harbor freight. Highly recommended, it's been great so far. As far as the air compressor goes, I have no idea how much that thing costs. But it's a nice one.

Here's the update thread. I'm going back next tuesday (I hope) to fix my booboo. Just be careful pulling those stencils off.
