Is Major Havoc featured in WarGames?

WarGames was released in June 1983. Major Havoc was released in November 1983.
I bet the movie producers could get a pre release copy of it just to put in the movie if the wanted. It wouldn't have to be full working as no one would know either way at the time.

The movie was filmed in 1982 (between August and November to be specific), so what kind of state do you think Major Havoc's development was in more than a year before it was released?. Besides, is Major Havoc integral to the WarGames story? Explain to me why everyone involved with making that movie would want to feature an unreleased game in an arcade where the only relevant game in the movie is Galaga.

Atari was really good at product placement. Wouldn't put it past them to push a prototype cab into a movie to get an edge on promotion.

Don't think it happened in this case, though.

I didn't make the movie so I can't "explain to you" anything to do with it. I can just give an opinion on maybe what happened.

Hard to beat Coca-Cola for product placement.... If Atari was half that ambitious, then kudos to them...
