Howdy,
I've got someone down the street from me selling a Kid Niki: The Radical Ninja for $150.

Is it worth picking up assuming that it works?

I love that game. Many fond memories playing it on the NES. Is it dedicated? Did they make a dedicated game?!

Yes that is supposed to be a good game actually.

It has a strong fanbase actually, not super popular but definitely a great little game. I say go for it if it's really that close.

$150 isn't bad. Get it! It is a fun game. You don't hear about it much on KLOV forums because most collectors here favor the older "classic" games. It's better than Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and Tron combined! :)

I think it was only a conversion kit, so don't expect to see it in dedicated form.

Same here, and it was tough! A neighbor of mine, older kid, beat it I think. I recall a boss who had big cheeks and blew wind around.

Funny, I just talked about how much I love this game and wouldn't mind having one in my most recent video:

Looks to be a fun game. Made by Irem, Moon Patrol developers. Another Ninja game that I like from that era is Rad Action/Ninja-Kid II.

One of my favorite games. I loved it on Nintendo so I bought the pcb and Jamma adapter. I have a bezel now and a marquee so ill be building a stand up when I find a suitable cabinet and cpo. i think all of the cpo's were generic. I'm thinking pink or purple t-molding...

loved it in the arcade BITD and even started collecting parts to build one for myself. Then I was hit up by someone who wanted me to build them one for a good amount of cash. I built them the game and played it for a few days before delivering it to the buyer. I was able to get to the last guy but was never able to beat him. For somewhat of a quarter muncher this game is actually challenging and not simply a given that you will beat it if you keep adding credits.

Another vote for it being a great game. I played the hell out of it at the rec center back in Ft. Campbell in '87 - '88. I do believe that it was only conversion kit BUT, it was in the same (or one very similar) to the cab in the pic below from the mame cabinet files. I remember those sides vividly.

Definitely go get it. And then please post some pics of it here in this thread!

I used to operate games at a hispanic flea market. Guy walks up one day, gets all excited, and then beat the game on 1 quarter. Apparently that game was huge in mexico.

I can vouch for that. I grew up in Mazatlan, Mexico during the summer school break.
Yeah, that game raked in a ton of Pesos. Reason I own a board myself, But its not a jamma board.

Im still trying to look for an adapter.

Really Fun game.

Don't think they sell an adapter but one can be made to work in a jamma cab. That's what I did for the one I made.

What you say reminds me of Trojan. I loved that game on the NES and actually got all the way through it, which was a rare thing for me to beat a game.
