I figure with all the buying/selling money bitch threads I'd throw this one up. This does not apply to anyone here - I've yet to buy just a board on here.
When I ship something, I pack it like it's old turn of the last century plate glass. I use double-walled corrugate on everything and pad it like someone's going to hit it with a hammer. You'd think that would be the standard but it's not.
Most of the times when I buy PCB's they show up in boxes that have been to hell and back 5x over, and the packing is shit like newspaper and hunks of padded envelopes. That pisses me off sooo much, how do can you expect repeat business with that shit? To me it says, "I've got your money, and now I don't give a shit."
I think people undervalue the opportunity at having repeat business - when you form trust with another person shit goes soooo smoothly. Sometimes you can get a better deal, you can get first dibs at something before it goes on the block, and you don't have to worry about deadbeats or petty complaints/bitching.
