Is it safe to transport cabs during winter months??

I was wondering, being that the temps out here are in the lower 30's to 20's would it be wise to transport cabs?? What would happen if a cab went from these low temps and directly into a 70 degree plus environment ,and if this would cause an issue how could I prevent it if posssible?

Hmm did my post prompt this thread? :)

I was actually most worried about the bezel and the monitor, because at the time of pick-up it was 26 degrees out. So, I loaded it from a 26 degree environment into a 72 degree (inside) truck, drove it home and unloaded it back out into 26 degree air until I could get it into my 55-degree garage. I was sure I was going to be mopping up glass at some point.

Just don't power up a machine until it has acclimated to the temperature when back inside. Other than that, I have never seen a problem.

Of course, if it has painted glass temperature extremes could damage that as well but this is more of a pinball problem than a vid problem.

Transport away my friend! As with any electronic device, you always let it acclimate to the higher temp before turning it on. That warning comes in every electronic manual you will ever own.
