I just bought and recieved a K4900 chassis from a fellow KLOVer. I also just bought a Gorf from a bunch of the biggest hicks ive seen. My question to you is, since this 4900 came from a Pac Man, can I simply just swap chassis with the 4600 in my Gorf? I would rather have the 4900 in the Gorf.

My understanding is that the tube is the same between the two, but the yoke is different. So you can do it, but you will also have to swap yokes, etc.

I fail to see what the problem is. Why can't you fix the 4600? Isn't the tube ok (if you ask about swapping another chassis in)? I don't care for taking the 4600 chassis apart, but once it's done, it's done. Recap, resolder all connector pins on the daughter cards. Bingo.

I can't say for sure but he may be in the same situation as I'm currently in. I have a K4600 getting ready to die (flyback) but you cannot buy replacement fly's for K4600's. I'm actually thinking of doing the same thing.. We'll see how it works out.
