EK was produced as both EM and SS. There were about 14,000 SS machines made, but only about 155 EMs. Is the EM version valuable? I know a guy who has the EM. Haven't seen it in person, though.

I'd say the EM version is Very collectible with only 155 produced, But the SS version not as much although they bring a decent price.

I had pretty much perfect back glass for both versions. I sold the EM one for more than twice as much as the SS one. I sold the EM one in less than 2 weeks. I sold the SS one after about 6 months. Based only on that, seems like the EM's are more desirable.

Agreeing with the rest...the EM is MUCH more desirable however when I finally get around to buying one it will be the SS sine that's what I remember playing

as long as it's not the stupid home model.

Gottlieb did the same thing when they transferred from EM to SS - they produced SS and EM models of the same pinball.

In the case of Gottlieb, System1 EM machines are very desirable. They usually sell for twice what a SS sells for.
