That has got to be the most awesome glitch/bug I've ever seen, and he even uses it to beat Machine Gun Willy early (throwing him off the balcony in the process).

I've had a ton of different Double Dragon games over the years, and yes, the game was designed with the pixels not as wide as most other games have. Even with a rebuilt monitor sometimes (depending on the cabinet if it's a conversion) you can't adjust the image all the way out.

There's one more kit I always have this trouble with.... WWF Superstars, BOTH games made by Technos.

On Superstars, some screens are more narrow than the others! So if you adjust it where one 'ring' fills the screen, when you wrestle in a different ring you'll have it too narrow again. They designed the game's image as a 'square' instead of a more rectangular shape like most games have.

Also I think Double Dragon sends out the image upside down, so they put a dipswitch to flip it around in a regular cabinet.

By the way, I've had a handful of guys PM me already in response to this thread to tell me to just ignore you because you're someone who has nothing good to contribute other than trying to outsmart everyone with your posts. I'm a pretty easy going guy and I don't really get into any of the drama on KLOV. But what I don't tolerate are guys who think they are better than everyone else.

No one cares how smart you are or how right you are. We care about preserving and enjoying games we grew up playing and, you sir, do nothing to encourage that. I can tell every guy in here to look up all your previous posts and they would find out in about 2 minutes what I'm talking about.
