Im also expermineting with the idea for my own of using a Cloak and Dagger defender cp which you can get from QuarterArcade its a metal panel and room for a 2way stick over where the 1 and 2 players are which would require yet another cpo version :D

Awesome! I will defintely pick one of those up when they become available. Any ETA yet?

Another idea .. would it be expensive to have a metal CP fabricated by a local shop? What type of shop would do this type of work? Since its a flat piece (and wood spacers could be used underneath) it shouldn't be too complicated and it would allow 3.5" sticks instead of the expensive 4" sticks (unless I am thinking about it wrong).

have no idea on costs I dont do any metal fab work so maybe someone will chime in
Ill get some pics of the underside and proflie of this panel.
The Defender C&D conversions came with a prefabbed metal panel from Atari
its a nice low profile and dosnt need Tmolding :D

I have the MW CP in post #8 above, and like it a lot. It's in a Stargate cab (no side cutouts next to the screen) with the MW bezel and side art. I find the Defender/Stargate reverse button is OK, even though it's a bit further from the joystick it is still easily covered by my thumb. Then again, Defender/Stargate are not my games--I'm more of a Robotron and Joust guy, and now Bubbles!

Did the TOG Defender MW CPO ever happen or did I miss the boat? Would really like to get one.
