When you flat out beat everyone out of some very sweet pinball deals... LOL

Because I picked up a very sweet almost HUO Jurassic Park. Owner stated they owned it since 1997. As in it needs nothing and 100% works. and is sitting in my basement and being played.

Found it on Michigan CL. Price listed was too cheap. Thought it was one of those troll bait ads.

It was legit. I think they had a high speed also. that went cheap too. Like as in way under value.

I see nothing wrong with it! If you got a great deal because you were in the right place at the right time...good for you! Pics?

probably a 1/3rd of the posts in this forum is someone bragging about something:) Sounds like you got a great deal. I see nothing wrong with posting about it to your Internet KLOV friends.

ill post some pics tonight.
they had it listed for $950.00
when i looked at the machine, way better than i could have expected. no fade anywhere.
no wear and everything worked, dmd was perfect.

when i saw price, i really instantly thought fake ad.

worth the long drive. almost 7 hours one way.

as a bonus, on the way back stopped at my buddies house for dinner. he gave me two aristocrat slot machines to fix and keep.

Only if it doesn't go to your head :)

I just got an Addams Family that was HUO since 98' for $2300, so no, bragging is not ok :)

The game needs a shop out though, and definitely saw some play early in its life. It will clean up to be a top notch machine.

here are some pics. I got it near flint. This pin was definitely worth the long drive, but I would be hard pressed to go that far again unless the deal was that sweet.

Yes, I think the price on the high speed was 950. I think it was as nice as the JP. I was not fast enough for that one though

Is it just the angle of the pic, or is that right flipper dangling at an odd angle?

Good eyes! It looks like right flipper is way down on right.

The playfields on DE games like JP have a little dimple right next to the ends of the flipper bats.

Align the flipper bat so the center of the end of the bat is pointing directly at the dimple and they will be aligned correctly.

Get the set of 3 Cliffy protectors for the scoop holes ASAP to keep that playfield nice and pristine. The scoop holes take a terrible beating on JP.

This works great! Williams games have this too.

Congrats on teh JP, looks nice!

The B/W flipper alignment works a bit differently.

On B/W games there is a through-hole with a roll pin, not a dimple.

You are supposed to use a flipper alignment post (most people use a toothpick) that you place into the hole in the playfield and then rest the flipper bat against the post.

Similar, but different method and different alignment point.
