Is anything like the Arcadeshop track pack PCB available any more?

Saw someone selling a game with one of these in it and thought it would be a way cool thing to have. It's jamma board that plays Centipede, Millipede, Crystal Castles and Arkanoid.

Does anyone make anything like that now? Or would I have to go with a programmable board and just limit it to those 4?

I saw the same FS post as you and was wondering the same thing.

Bryan sells them:

Not exactly the same thing but I guess it would work pretty close to the same. I wonder what the menu looks like. It also lists Missile Command as a vertical game.

I am pretty sure that it is damn near the exact same thing. There is a video on his website showing what the menu looks like. Just keep scrolling down.

There was a thread that discussed this whole thing, but I can't find it right now.

I have a spare one of these boards and just flashed it with the 4 trackball games you mentioned.

Let me know if you want to try it out with the intent to buy. It's a spare so I can let it go.

hummina hummina hummina.....

Let me wait and see how things go with these Defender projects first. If I'm able to get them working and sell one and make a few dollars I may just take you up on that. Unless someone else snatches it up first. How much do you want for the thing?

Why don't you go with Mame? You can have all the track ball games.

Because it's way more expensive to buy all the parts. Plus much more complicated to build. How many good vertical track-ball games are there really anyway that use the same set of controls?

Yes, it could be.

According to the Maws list there are 80 trackball games. Definitely not all good, but I highly recommend shuffleshot. It is one of the most played games in my arcade when friends are over. (plus you can play some of the Golden Tees, Reactor, The Irritating Maze and Quantum all with the same setup)
