from KLOV (his link)

"Game Play
Finish first for all five tracks and race a special track with the jet from Afterburner. Incredibly difficult!"

I find that interesting and most deff is that sit down was late 80's very cool..

I remember playing the deluxe sitdown Power Drift at Darien Lake years ago. Would love one but they've got to take up a TON of space.

very rare. Not sure how desirable... I know one guy how likes it quite a bit and would probably gtrab it if it was in the bay area..

Grab it if you have space. I am sure a $200 gift card to home depot would do it. If you have a reward program on your credit card, you might be able to get it for free..

If you do get it, it the upright uses the same B gear as outrun, so you should look for the reproduced metal replacement gear.

It's semi-rare... But there were defenitely more than 27 deluxe cabs built.

When I lived in Knoxville, TN. back in the late 80's, I knew of 2 different arcades that had the deluxe Power Drift.

People just throw in shit like "only 27 made!" so they can sucker someone for a higher price. The deluxe cab is really only worth about $350-550, tops.

Very underrated game IMHO. Great fun.

I wasn't good enough to get gold on every circuit to reach the Afterburner stage.

I had the upright for some time, but I was too much used (in my memory) to the sit-down that I played in the arcade. Plus I was supposed to get a PP cockpit in place of it but that deal didn't go through....so I'm out of a racer in my game room now. Unacceptable !

27 still known to exist ? How does he know ?
I know a sit-down for sale not too far from me.....no space for it though
