I'm assuming yes after seeing that convenient Molex connector on the 48-in-1.

I have an old VGA Monitor and ATX PS sitting around, and was wanting to see the board run just for kicks. Suppose I could even plug some speakers in too. I currently have no JAMMA Harness/extra joysticks to rig up for input, but I have had the board for almost two weeks and have yet to power it up.

I just want to make sure simply plugging in the ATX and flipping it on with 48-in-1 attached will not fry the board.

yeppers most plug right in.

However most "atx" power supplies get the signal to turn on form the large like 30 pin motherboard connector. SO if yours does not have the external power switch you will have to cut the green wire at the large connector and hook it up to one of the grounds(any black wire) to trick the ps into turning on.

also the "earphone" jack is low level audio, so some AMPLIFIED pc speakers will convienently plug right in. The baord generated Amplified audio is only outputted through the jamma conector.

Ok, awesome. My PS does have an external switch on it so that should make matters easier. Just needed to know before I blew something up!

Must have mistaken my external PS switch for something else. Had everything connected, turned on the power on my Monitor, then flipped the switch on the back of the PS and got no video signal.

I have the second dipswitch on the board set to the ON position, so I don't think that is the problem.

Looks like I will have to splice the wires.
