I found a monitor in my basement with some of the worst screen burn next to a pacman. It was obviously Tapper. I have the K4900 frame with the two metal flappers that stick out the front. All the plastic parts are gone. Is this a sought after frame? I would be willing to trade for another K4900 frame for the cost of shipping. If not, I'll just use it for another game.

I would take the two metal (plastic bezel mount) sheets if you're selling them.

They are sought after if someone is restoring a Tapper and doesn't have that frame. I remember when I was putting my Root Beer Tapper together from project status it was a bit of a chore to find the correct bezel, side mounting plates and monitor frame. Was able to trade monitor frames with a local collector.

I guess I assumed the 4900 monitor frame was the standard frame and nothing special. Your saying the 4900 frame in a Tapper is made especially for the metal mount pieces? I guess I should look at my 4900 frames.

Yeah. The certain monitor frames have those punched out holes. I have a G07 in mine and had to find a compatible G07 frame.
