So, Ok. I have a baby on the way, and I have this old 2 seater Mercedes convertible that I am not sure about keeping anymore (1984 380 SL). There is no place for a baby seat and frankly I am not sure if I can afford to keep 3 vanity vehicles around (this one, 1976 chevy truck and a motorcycle).

Is trading a car for games even remotely doable? Has anyone done that before?

i traded some rare LPs and a guitar amp for a car once...

things have value, find someone like minded and make a deal.

Trade it for pinballs.Arcade games you would need a lot of games because their worth $150 to $450.A pinball is worth $1000 to $1750 depending on the game.

But if you trade for games and cash you would still need many games because $300 is not good enough for one game.
that is my opinion

As far as arcade games there are a lot of them worth more then $450. The $150-$450 is the cheep KLOV price. If you look at retail then you would be looking at $400-$1200.

If you can find what you want then why not trade.

I love that movie, highly under rated 80's classic IMHO.

I'd sell the car for cash and then spend the cash on games quick as you can. If the cash sits around it will suddenly become part of the "baby needs this" fund.

Since I know Tbbk outside the forums, I'm gonna be the douche here and suggest doing the responsible thing.... Sell the car and motorcycle! Then buy a good reliable 4-door vehicle. You only have your wife's car to transport driver + baby and anyone else tagging along (like your wife). Also we've effectively overfilled your basement with games as well.

...

On the other hand, if you get offered some really sweet games then by all means trade away. It's not like we can't sell off a few lol.

I traded a dedicated Street Fighter for an '01 Audi A4 2.8L a couple months ago.. I don't expect that to happen again.

The idea is that the car costs money just to own. While the games don't. I am not bothering with another car until I find a new job.

I traded my scooter for 3 cabs including Captain Commando. Not a car, but still a vehicle.

Never sell a moto! they just take up so little space, you can tuck them anywhere! ;)

If I had a ramp mine would live in the arcade room :)
