I'm using a nintendo iso and it is putting out 111v.
Is this too low for regular monitors and such?

I know if it were closer to 100v it would be a definite no-no...
But 111v is in the normal range IMO, but I want another opinion before I commit to using it.

I sold 2 sega outrun cabaret cabs that had k7000's in them. Both were getting 100v to the monitor(I think it was 108v). I got them from an op in a package deal when he replaced all his outruns on his route (I think I got 5 or 6).

He operated them like that and had no problems. I think you would be ok. I was told 15% tolerace. You just can't go the other way (100v monitor in a 120v cab).

Had a G07 running in my Hang-On (100v) for about a year with no problems. Unless you notice a smaller picture on the tube, you should be fine.

Is that voltage with the transformer under load (powering the monitor?)

Indeed the voltage did drop to 109v under load.

Had to do a little leg work but the monitor is a Kortek KT-2101N.
Found the manual and it says the acceptable input voltage is 100v-230v!
I guess that's my answer.
I appreciate the experience shared!

Another thing to remember.......in 1980 the standard operating voltage in the USA was 110 volts.
